As an important part of Shanghai's outer ring ecological project, Gucun Park is a large urban forest park integrating ecological protection, sightseeing, relaxation and fitness, cultural entertainment and travel. The park is on the north of outer ring S20, Baoshan District, Shanghai and extends from Hutai Road on the east to Chenguang Road on the west and closely adjacent to Metro Line 7, so it is easily accessible. The planned total area of Gucun Park is 430 hectares and divided into two phases with the central river as boundary. The park combines waters, wetland, plant communities and idyllic sceneries, integrates and inherits history and culture and represents the ecological philosophy that human harmoniously gets along with nature.
